For the next ten days, CWN will present our Top 10 WWE SummerSlam shows of all-time. WWE SummerSlam made it’s debut in 1988 and this year will mark the 33rd edition of ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’.
Number ten on our list is WWF SummerSlam 2000 which took place on Sunday, August 27th, 2000 at the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina featuring The Rock defeating Triple H and Kurt Angle in a Triple Threat match to retain the WWF Championship in the Main Event.
Of the ten matches that took place that night, our match of the night goes to Edge & Christian defeating The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz in their inaugural TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship.
