Beginning on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 and ending on Sunday, January 31st, 2021, CWN will present our Top 10 WWE Royal Rumble events of all-time. WWE Royal Rumble made it’s debut in 1988 and this year will mark the 34th edition of the event.
Number six on my list is WWE Royal Rumble 2006 which took place on Sunday, January 29th, 2006 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida featuring Kurt Angle defeating Mark Henry to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the Main Event.
Of the seven matches that took place that night, my match of the night goes to Rey Mysterio outlasting twenty-nine other WWE Superstars to win the Royal Rumble Match.
