Beginning on Thursday, July 27th, 2023 and ending on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, CWN will present our Top 10 WWE SummerSlam Moments of All-time. WWE SummerSlam made it’s debut in 1988 and this year will mark the 36th edition of ‘The Biggest Event of the Summer’.
Number four on our list is ‘The Next Big Thing’ Brock Lesnar defeating The Rock for the WWE Undisputed Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2002 which took place on Sunday, August 25th, 2002 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. With the victory, Lesnar became the second fastest to win the WWE Championship since his WWE debut at 126 days and the youngest, at the time, to the win the title at the age of 25 years old.
