Number sixteen on our list is Kofi Kingston defeating Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Championship at WWE WrestleMania 35 which took place on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. On top of becoming a Grand Slam Champion and a Triple Crown Champion, the victory by Kingston made him the very first African-born WWE Champion in company history.
