The last match for NJPW in the US in 2024 saw the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship on the line at Strong Style Evolved, Mercedes Moné defending against STARDOM’s Wild Heart, Hazuki. The California crowd was in the champion’s corner, but Hazuki got more than a few fans on side before first contact saw the challenger muscled into the corner. The match nearly ended fast as a head scissor whip into the Statement Maker had Hazuki straining to reach the ropes.
